Gerry L. Schmidt, Ph.D.

Gerry Schmidt is co-founder and Senior Partner of Jackson & Schmidt.

He has over 30 years’ experience working with individuals, leaders, and organizations to create lasting and effective change. Gerry’s special talent is modeling the practices, behaviors, and beliefs, of exceptional leaders, and teaching those to others.

He currently works with executive teams and senior leaders to facilitate in-depth and powerful dialogue about how culture drives performance. This usually includes creating a clear statement of vision and values, an inspiring business case for change, a plan for how to engage employees in your vision, and building a higher level of strategic leadership, and greater team accountability.

    In directing projects, he focuses on:
  • Seeking the simpler (and faster) path to results;
  • Giving you the tools to build sustainable change rather than create dependency on consultants;
  • Discovering opportunity through insight into obstacles and dynamics people have never questioned.

He previously served as Executive Vice President of ARC International, an international consulting firm specializing in large scale organizational change; is the author of a best-selling Nightingale-Conant audio program, and has been a senior trainer and consultant for an internationally renowned professional training company.

Gerry holds a PhD in systems approaches to Educational Psychology and a master’s degree in Earth Science from the University of South Carolina. He received his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University. He currently resides in Folly Beach, South Carolina

Lisa Jackson         Top

Lisa Jackson is co-founder and Senior Partner of Jackson & Schmidt. She has 20 year’s experience training and coaching in the human performance arena, specializing in assessment of organizational culture and facilitating commitment and accountability during large-scale change. Her unique combination of honesty, humor, and directness has inspired hundreds of people to exceed their desired performance goals throughout her career.

    Her practice style focuses on:
  • Creating a common language for culture and defining a clear pathway to its improvement;
  • Applying project management and process improvement principles to culture development and communication;
  • Equipping teams with the courage and tools to lead sustainable change.

Prior to her work as a management consultant, she successfully managed two businesses through significant growth and profitability.

Lisa graduated magna cum laude in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. She currently resides in Littleton, Colorado.
